If you have ever considered working on games for a living, then Azusa Pacific’s Bachelor of Arts in Games and Interactive Media is a great place to start.
The Program
In Azusa’s program, you learn to build all types of games, studying the process of storytelling, game mechanics, art, sound, and more for a well-rounded understanding of the industry. You study under supportive faculty-mentors who work in the industry, alongside a collaborative community of students engaged in cinema, animation, art, design, and computer science.
Located in Azusa, California — just 26 miles northeast of Los Angeles — APU sits in one of the world’s most concentrated hubs of entertainment and technology. The department’s connections can put you in touch with big game companies like Blizzard, EA, and Square Enix, giving students a real pathway from classroom to studio.
Faith-Centered Learning
As a Christ-centered university, APU integrates faith into every aspect of the educational experience. Game design students don’t just learn technical skills — they’re challenged to think about how interactive media can serve a greater purpose, tell meaningful stories, and reflect the creativity of the Creator.

If making games as a living speaks to you, then Azusa Pacific University is an excellent place to start.
