Joel Pelsue is the founder and president of Arts & Entertainment Ministries and the Arts & Entertainment Institute in Los Angeles.
An ordained Presbyterian Church in America minister for 25+ years, he has served three times as Moderator of Pacific Presbytery. His academic training is in philosophy and theology, and he recently took a sabbatical at King’s College and the National Gallery in London to study theology and aesthetics.
Pelsue equips artists and cultural leaders to integrate biblical wisdom into mainstream creative spaces, teaching how stories and entertainment shape beliefs before they influence public discourse. He’s currently writing a book on the role of beauty in Christian thought, and mentors artists and leaders in Los Angeles with his wife Michelle and three children.
